Tax preparation options – Choose Your Process

Our new virtual tax preparation is now available.

OPTION #1: VIRTUAL – EASIEST OPTION FOR OUR CLIENT – SAVES CLIENT TIME AND EFFORT.

Provide tax documents and organizer using our easy to use, new, secure online ‘Share File’ portal from your computer.

Details: As we prepare the tax return, we may email, or sometimes call, the client with any relevant questions, or to request further documentation where needed. The client may request a complimentary thirty (30) minute meeting (virtually by phone or screen share conference call) to review the tax return, or to plan for changes in their financial tax situation next year, after a review copy is emailed to the client, and prior to the ‘COMPLETION STEPS’ listed below.

OPTION #2: Drop off to our office, or mail in, your paper tax documents and organizer

Details: Drop off is at 31 West Tarpon Avenue, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. As we prepare the tax return, we may email, or sometimes call, the client with any relevant questions, or to request further documentation where needed. The client may request a complimentary thirty (30) minute meeting (virtually by phone or screen share conference call) to review the tax return, or to plan for changes in their financial tax situation next year, after a review copy is emailed to the client, and prior to the ‘COMPLETION STEPS’ listed below.

COMPLETION STEPS – What happens after the completion of tax return:

Once the tax return is completed, we email our client a ‘Review Copy’ of their return and forms (Form 8879) for them to electronically sign along with the invoice to pay online for their convenience. Once all forms are signed digitally, and payment received, we e-file their tax return and place a copy of their return in their secure client ‘Share File’ portal for them to download, or if they ever need it in the future.

IMPORTANT: ONCE THE DIGITAL FORMS ARE SIGNED AND PAYMENT FOR FEES HAVE BEEN MADE, WE E-FILE THE TAX RETURN FOR OUR CLIENT. PRIOR TO SIGNING THE DIGITAL FORMS AND PAYING FOR THE TAX RETURN, THE CLIENT MAY REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A PHONE OR ZOOM MEETING (WITH SCREEN SHARING CAPABILITIES) TO REVIEW THE TAX RETURN(S), ASK QUESTIONS, PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IF REQUIRED AND/OR PROVIDE DIFFERENT INCOME ESTIMATES FOR ESTIMATED TAX PAYMENTS NEXT YEAR.
